Hays Education are working in partnership with a welcoming secondary school in the Leamington Spa area to recruit a Business Teacher for a full-time position starting in September.This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable business specialist to join a supportive department and make a positive impact on student outcomes across Key Stages 4 and 5.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging business lessons, inspiring students to achieve their full potential and develop a strong understanding of the subject.This is a full teaching role and will include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality Business lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
\n
• Marking and assessing student work in line with school policies
\n
• Monitoring student progress and providing targeted support where required
\n
• Creating a positive and engaging learning environment
\n
• Attending departmental meetings, parents' evenings, training sessions, and whole-school events
\n
• Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
\n
• Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
\n

Requirements

\n
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
\n
• Recent experience teaching Business within a UK secondary school
\n
• Ability to teach Business Studies at KS4 and KS5
\n
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for business education
\n
• Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
\n
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
\n

The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and enthusiastic practitioner who can build positive relationships with students and staff whilst delivering engaging lessons that drive attainment and progress. Strong behaviour management skills would be advantageous.
