Finance Manager

You'll work collaboratively with your Finance Manager counterpart, providing mutual cover, sharing responsibilities, and driving continuous improvement across the department.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nPrepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reporting packs.\nProvide meaningful financial reporting and analysis to the management team.\nManage financial control across multiple group companies.\nReconcile and control intercompany transactions.\nOversee cash management and cashflow across all entities.\nSupport Directors with financial information and business requirements.\nPrepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat reporting.\nLiaise with external accountants regarding year-end accounts and corporation/directors' tax matters.\nIdentify opportunities to improve and formalise finance processes and controls.\nSupport the ongoing development and efficiency of the finance department.\nWork collaboratively with the second Finance Manager to ensure seamless cover, shared responsibilities, and internal auditing of processes.The person:\n\nYou'll be an organised, motivated finance professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality financial information.\n\nYou'll ideally have:\n\nAAT qualification or be part-qualified ACCA or CIMA (qualified by experience candidates will also be considered).\nStrong financial accounting and management reporting experience.\nExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills.\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills.\nThe ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the business.\nA proactive, self-motivated approach with excellent organisational and time management skills.\nA continuous improvement mindset and a passion for developing efficient finance processes.\nA collaborative, team-focused attitude.What this role offers\n\nA varied and rewarding Finance Manager role supporting multiple businesses.\nClose collaboration with the Group CFO and senior leadership team.\nThe opportunity to influence and improve finance processes.\nA supportive team environment with shared responsibilities and knowledge.\nLong-term career development within a growing business.If you're looking for a role where your expertise will be valued and you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference to a growing group of businesses, we'd love to hear from you
