Forklift Truck Driver (Counterbalance) – Temp to Perm Location: Gateshead  Pay Rate: £12.91 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week We're recruiting experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck Drivers to join a well-established manufacturing and distribution business in Peterlee. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, offering long-term career prospects for the right candidates. Shift Patterns You will work on a rotating shift pattern: Early Shift: Monday to Thursday, 6:30am – 4:30pm Back Shift: Monday to Thursday, 12:30pm – 10:30pm Enjoy a three-day weekend every week, with Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays off. The Role Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently. Loading and unloading deliveries. Moving stock throughout the warehouse and production areas. Supporting warehouse and production operations. Carrying out general housekeeping and following all health and safety procedures. What We're Looking For A valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence (RTITB or equivalent). Previous experience operating a Counterbalance FLT. Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
