The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting experienced Shunter Drivers to join our team in Coventry CV8.

Hours:

Night shift positions only
\n Typical start times fall between 17:00pm and 20:00pm
\n Typically Monday to Friday but may be weekend work at times

Pay Rates:

\n
• £18.50 between 6am - 10pm
\n
• £20.00 between 10pm - 6am
\n
• Weekend £25.00
\n

Location:

Coventry, CV8

The Role:

\n
• Shunting trailers within the yard 40100 moves per shift
\n
• Yard manoeuvring and reversing with confidence and accuracy
\n
• Communicating effectively with transport and logistics teams
\n

Requirements:

\n
• Minimum 4 months shunting driving experience
\n
• Full UK Class 1 licence (C+E)
\n
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card
\n
• No more than 6 penalty points (minor offences only)
\n
• Successful completion of assessment (theory and practical)
\n
• Strong communication skills and a safety-first attitude
\n
