MFL Teacher – Sheffield

The Supply Register is working in partnership with local schools in Sheffield to recruit a Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for flexible supply opportunities.

\n

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about languages and inspiring students to develop their communication skills and cultural understanding across Key Stage 3 and 4.

\n

The role includes:• Delivering engaging MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4• Planning and adapting lessons to meet learner needs• Encouraging active participation and a love of language learning• Assessing, tracking, and providing feedback on student progress• Maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment• Managing behaviour in line with school expectations• Collaborating with department staff and wider school teams

\n

We’re looking for candidates who:• Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification• Have experience teaching a modern foreign language at secondary level• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills• Communicate effectively and professionally• Hold high expectations for student achievement and behaviour• Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
