Payroll Specialist (Practice Experience Preferred)We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a friendly and supportive accountancy practice team. This is an excellent opportunity for a payroll professional who is confident managing payroll for a varied client portfolio and enjoys delivering a high standard of client service.
Key Responsibilities\n
\n - Managing payroll for a portfolio of clients across a variety of industries
\n - Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
\n - Handling workplace pension submissions and auto-enrolment requirements
\n - Processing CIS deductions and submissions where required
\n - Liaising directly with clients and responding to payroll-related queries
\n - Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
\n - Supporting the continued growth and development of payroll services

Requirements\n
\n - Previous payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice environment
\n - Strong understanding of payroll legislation and procedures
\n
Experience with:\n
\n - Salary sacrifice schemes
\n - CIS payroll requirements
\n - Workplace pensions and auto-enrolment
\n - Processing payrolls for multiple clients
\n - Experience using Sage Payroll software is preferred
\n - Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
\n - Excellent communication and organisational skills

Hours\n
\n - Part-time role initially (approximately 3 days per week)
\n - Flexibility to move into a full-time position for the right candidate
\n
