Connect Appointments is recruiting a Press Brake Setter/Operator to join an established sheet metal fabrication business based in Livingston.

Our client is a family-run precision sheet metal fabrication business, working across a broad range of materials and sectors - offering a varied, skilled role with modern equipment including AMADA press brakes.

What's on offer?

• Full-time permanent position
\n
• Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 5:30pm
\n
• 14.00 to 16.00 per - hour dependent on experience
\n

As a Press Brake Setter/Operator, your duties will include:

\n
• Setting and operating press brake machinery to produce precision sheet metal components
\n
• Working across a range of materials including stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
\n
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately to produce components to specification
\n
• Carrying out quality checks throughout production to maintain a high standard finish
\n
• Operating a wide range of workshop machinery as required
\n

To be considered as a Press Brake Setter/Operator, you will need:

\n
• Proven experience setting and operating press brake machinery - AMADA experience is advantageous
\n
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately
\n
• Experience working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium to a high standard finish
\n
• A strong commitment to quality and health and safety standards
\n
