SEND Teaching Assistant

Primary School- Horsforth

Engage Education are currently looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a Primary School in Horsforth, Leeds. Starting in September, the school are looking for an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to work in a Key Stage 2 class. This is a full time (Monday to Friday) 12 week temp to perm position.

Your Role:

\n
• Supporting learners on a one-to-one basis often with complex learning needs
\n
• Working with other support staff to engage pupils in class
\n
• Providing feedback to teachers and parents
\n
• You will be assisting pupils with Autism, SEMH, ADHD
\n

• A range of behaviour management techniques
\n
• To have worked with learners with a range of needs
\n
• The ability to engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
\n
• To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
\n
• A resilient attitude
\n
