Site Access Administrator Temporary

Our client, one of the UK's leading energy providers has an exciting opportunity for a Site Access Administrator.

The Security department requires temporary support with Security Check Vetting on Station to support with outages and refuellers. You will act as the site lead for vetting matters, including, ensuring that all vetting standards for access to site for both staff and contractors are met, in particular, ensuring that staff and contractors are cleared to at least Counter Terrorist Check (CTC) level before being set to work unescorted on a civil nuclear industry licensed site. You will be responsible for ensuring that only valid security clearance applications are submitted by the site so that vetting applications can be progressed. You will also act as the onsite point of contact for Ongoing Personnel Security communications and processes, as part of their significant contribution to mitigating the Insider risk through site.

As a Site Access Administrator, you will also be required to, but not limited to:

• Provide administrative support to the two Central Vetting Officers
• Support the provision of an efficient BPSS and vetting service through the organisation of paperwork, vetting packs and electronic personnel security related information.
• Be required to be conversant with the company process on personnel security.
• Work to the highest standards of data protection compliance in accordance with GDPR.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with experience of administration of personnel data systems and knowledge of working in a highly regulated environment.

You should be adept with computer-based process, proficient at Microsoft Office tools, and have a strong eye for detail.

You must be familiar with the requirements of GDPR and ideally will have worked with Sensitive Personal Data before.

Essential skills and experience:

• Security Check (SC) Vetted

• Excellent people and communication skills

• Discreet with personal and confidential information

• Demonstration of a good standard of education

• IT competence in Outlook and Microsoft Office Packages, and, spreadsheet, and database management.
• Attention to detail
• Some specific experience of working in personal data administration or Personnel Security domains

The knowledge and expertise of station security regime standards required for this post can be obtained through a combination of training and experience in a comparable environment

The successful candidate must undertake a drugs and alcohol test and hold/pass the appropriate security clearance for this role.
